News and Events Nextron awarded Pennsylvania contractNews Release August 6, 2003 - Nextron Corporation announced it has been awarded a $260,000 contract through its representatives in Darby, Pennsylvania to supply custom engineered temperature control panels for a newly constructed 2000 MW co-generation facility located in Fairless Hills, Pennsylvania. Co-generation has been the fastest growing application for Nextron products in the U.S since 2001. National demand for power plants has increased by 1,300 percent in the U.S. as reported in December 2001 at the Power Energy Convention in Las Vegas. As reported in 2002, over the next five years, nearly 700 new plants are planned for construction, creating significant opportunities for Nextron. Nextron Corporation is a high technology company whose core business is the design, production and marketing of industrial electronic products with strategic planning initiatives that focus entirely on products for use in temperature control applications. The Temperature Control products are used in various industries and applications for single to multiple circuit monitoring and control of electrical heat tracing systems. The markets served are primarily in North America with some end users in countries outside North America.
